McCairn's Alix Westhead

Alix hit the Cairn Terrier Club of America roving National with a bang!  She went Winners Bitch and also earned an Award of Merit at the Roving National Specialty in Ft. Worth, Texas.  She was winners bitch over 39 bitches and won an AOM over several quality specials.  She followed up that win with another 5 point major the next day.  Alix started the weekend at the Trinity Valley Cairn Terrier Club with a Reserve Winners Bitch win.  Alix finished with a third 5 point major!

Alix has wonderful coat, typey head, short, fat tail, and happy attitude that takes the ring by storm.

Alix is the daughter of BIS Am/Can Ch. Meadowwyn's One Trick Pony "Heidi".  Heidi is a one in a million dog.  She was a true showdog and with lots of sparkle.  Heidi has beautiful movement and awesome type.  There was never a time that she didn't respond when I asked her for 150%.  I was so lucky to be her partner during her show career....and what a career it was!  

Alix is sired by Multiple Best in Show and Multiple Best in Specialty Show winning Am Ch. Rosecroft Best Foot Foward, "Teddy".  Teddy is the number #1 Cairn Terrier in the breed's history, defeating more dogs in his career than any other Cairn Terrier in competition of the past and present
